- Approve the reference. Adjustments can be made before the edition is produced.

Why proofing matters
A screen cannot fully predict how an image will appear on a physical paper. Surface texture, paper tone and the way ink interacts with the sheet all influence the result.
A physical proof produced with the intended inks and paper gives the most useful reference for approving an edition. It also provides a benchmark when later prints need to match the original run.

Certificates of authenticity
Certificates of authenticity are available on request as a costed service. They can accompany a limited-edition print and record information such as the artwork title, edition details, print process and paper.
Tell us at the quotation stage if certificates are required so they can be included in the proposed workflow.
